Economy

Lots of people love to throw things out. I subscribe to the "you never know when you might need it" club. Our barn helps this because there is just so much space to fill up. We often joke that it's the junk inside that holds the barn up. So we got some plants from a friend who brought home too many from a grower. In the barn I had two wire baskets and the moss from my succulent wreath last year. So here is one of the two hanging baskets. I'll admit at one time the supplies cost me something but today no expense. My retirement has taught me to use and enjoy what I have.

recycle, RE-USE. Not only is it environmentally sound to re-use, but a great idea. You liked or found things useful in the past, why not again? Beautiful picture, thanks for the lovely tableau.

What good use of old stuff. I totally want your barn -- it looks lovely. And that fact that it's filled with treasures makes it even more appealling.

that barn is yours? I love it! You'll have to show us the treasures inside of it some day. Don't you just love getting freebies from friends!?

Oooo, pretty! I love that it looks a wee bit rustic. And aren't you lucky to have a barn? We have an unfinished apt. above our garage - our 'barn' ;-) -- funny how those empty spaces fill up, isn't it?

what a blessing! looks like you made good use of the gift! a barn would be wonderful to store all of those "I'll need that some day" items.
