June Cleaver

I've enjoyed my food resolutions. Last year was to make all salad dressings. That's been fun and probably money saving as well. This year was to make spaghetti sauce. This has turned out to be easier than I ever imagined. I think now I'm adding a new one: only homemade cookies. I love cookies. A day isn't complete without a cookie. I'm not sure if all this saves me money. I do think it is healthier than all the preservatives and chemicals in processed foods. I am sure that it helps balance my life. It's fun to take out some time to bake or prepare the sauce. I think June Cleaver would have done all this without a thought. And after all June Cleaver is my idol.

Can I call you June Jr.? I used to make homemade cookies all the time, but lately I haven't made them at all. Store cookies are no substitute. Yours look very yummy.

Hooray for June ... and hooray for YOU! Those cookies look delicious (and I adore the loom-woven potholders, too).

Off I go to don an apron and make some cookies of my own!

Hi Beth! Love your pretty new header, and those cookies look so good! I'm with you, must have at least one cookie every day ;).

I so love cookies! My problem is I can't stop at just one cookie!! Looking forward to seeing all the varieties you try this year.

I loved June...do you wear an apron and pearls? I'm a "June" too.
This year it's all about muffins at my house but cookies are always around too.
Lucky family you have to have a "June" of their very own.
