It's a Party!

We had some good friends over this Saturday night for dinner. I had fun getting ready. Thanks to the Birthday party I had the tablecloths and napkins. It was fun to think up the menu and do the cooking. At the end of the day it was great to sit down and relax and catch up with our friends.
We had the perfect evening to sit outside.

My flower garden is working out well. These flowers were from the yard and the garden. This is what I had been wanting to do for years. It's expensive to buy bouquets but so much cheaper to grow them myself. It's getting to be fun to pick them, choose the vase and arrange them. It's a new craft for me.

Love your arrangement with the flower stems cut short - makes the flowers shine. Your yard and garden are so perfectly manicured.

Happy belated Birthday to you!

So wonderful that the weather cooperated for your dinner - your table looks beautiful.

I wish I had the talent to cleverly arrange flowers. Mine never look like yours! I'm glad your party was a good one.

Your flowers are just beautiful! I'm so envious! I'm trying to keep our few flowers alive in this heat, but gosh, it's a chore -- water, water, water!
Blessings,
