Befores no Afters

We have started a bunch of projects. Today I took the wallpaper off the downstairs bathroom walls. It's been on a good 25 years and was beginning to look dingy. I think this should be cleaned up before the holidays.
Then one of the candles on the chandelier burst into flames the other day. We need a light over the table for holiday dinners. I should go look for a new on before I decide to have it fixed - you never know I might like something better. While I'm at the lighting store I should get a new light for the bathroom - don't you think.

My husband is finally putting the new floor down on the front porch. It looks great but now maybe we need some new stuff for the porch ???? And we need this done before anyone arrives for holiday dinners. Maybe not furnished but at least no tools left over.
I don't know how we got into so much. It makes me dizzy. I didn't show the sweater that I'm putting together for a customer that I also knit. Also almost done. So here I am, a little this, a little that. I'm looking forward to showing you the afters.

I'm looking forward to seeing the afters too...you sound like me. I'm painting the basement, working on some sewing projects, there are knitting projects in process and we're waiting on a new roof and windows....it's enough to make my head dizzy too!

I like the way you think! My husband wants a new woodstove, I said ok but we need to rebuild the hearth, then we found "fire mats" and hubby said they were smaller than the existing hearth and I said ok, I want new carpeting anyway! Projects are never as simple as we think are they? Can't wait to see how all your projects turn out!

I can't stand living in disarray -- I get very nervous and twitchy. The year we finished off the basement was the most stressful for me. I came home and felt I had to rid the house of plaster dust every day after work. Good luck living with so much underway -- Take lots of pictures to share.

Have fun shopping for the new lights and picking out paint for your bathroom. Don't worry it'll all get done - love your home.

How exciting! Adding a few new favorites into the mix. Enjoy your shopping. And I'm sure your guests won't mind it there's a tool here or there as long as you're present!
