More Fun

This was a fun All Stitched Up project. It's a simple stamped cross stitch kit. I haven't done one in ages but I'm sure it's much less expensive than many needlepoint projects. I also think it's a lot of fun for the cost of the kit. This part of the sampler took ages to do. It's also not so easy to get the stitches right on the blue X's. Then there was the stem stitch, the more I did the more fun it was. Again it was a project I was sad to give back to it's owner. Next time I'm at Micheal's I'm going to see it there's a kit that I'd like to have for myself.

Hello again Beth,

There is a great tutorial by Lucy at
http://attic24.typepad.com for joining granny squares as you go, so there is no stitching together at the end. Beware, this site is a feast of crochet with lots of lovely crochet tutorials,it's a very lovely blog too.
