Practice Makes Perfect

My  sewing machine has been working over time these days. I did an emergency decorating job for one of my friends. Curtains were flying through the machine.  Next I've made three of the little dresses pictured above.
All have little knitted tops and different fabric skirts.
It's fun to match up the combinations.

Then my monthly quilt square. Of course I've waited to the last minute but it's done in plenty of time. Since it was fairly easy I tried to work on perfection. I so admire the beautiful quilts at the shop. They look very exact. My sewing is always a bit wobbly. I will say with all this sewing I'm getting a little better. Practice makes perfect!
I'm putting the sewing machine today and getting out my crochet hook. I have an afghan that needs to be put together and edged.

wonderful sewing. Love that little dress...and that quilt block is so fun with the angles. You did a great job on both of them. I've been sewing too lately. Finally finishing up a quilt top. Have fun with your hook!
